The Nova System

Everything your child needs to succeed in VCE, including teaching, practice, accountability, and ongoing support.

Weekly 90 minute small group classes

Each student attends a weekly small-group class (capped at 10) where we teach the content step-by-step and build genuine understanding.

60 minute fortnightly one-on-one

Students meet individually with their tutor every two weeks to go through feedback, fix misconceptions, review work, and stay accountable.

Weekly content & practise booklets

Every student receives tailored booklets, notes, worksheets, and practice questions created by our tutors specifically for VCE success.

24/7 Support

Students can message us anytime for help with homework, questions, clarification, or revision, because we provide real support beyond the classroom.

A System That’s Built For Students, Designed For Them To Succeed

Here's Our Structure

A simple, step-by-step structure that shows you exactly how your child learns and improves each week at Nova.

Your child joins their small-group class, where our tutor teaches the week’s content using our structured notes and workbook and broken down step-by-step so students actually understand the concepts, not just memorise them.

After class, students are given targeted practice questions and weekly homework that reinforce what they’ve just learned, intentionally chosen to build confidence and develop exam-ready skills.

During the week, your child can message their tutor at any time through our 24/7 support system. Stuck on a question or need clarification? Help is always a text away.

Every fortnight, your child has a personalised 1-on-1 session. Here, the tutor reviews their work, goes through mistakes, explains tricky ideas, sets goals, and gives tailored advice — ensuring no student falls behind.

Students complete SAC-style tasks, mini-tests, and mock exams written in Nova’s format. This gives them exposure to real VCAA-style questions and exam conditions, so by the time tests arrive, they feel confident and prepared.

All progress — from homework to mock tests — is reviewed by our tutors, allowing us to monitor each student closely and give targeted support where they need it most.

Week by week, consistency builds mastery. Students become more organised, more confident, and more capable. Parents see clearer understanding, calmer test-taking, and steadily improving results.
